The Energy-Efficient Machinery and System Awards

FRA series

 

    In 2019, FRA robots, YUSHIN’s flagship model, received JMF's President Award at the Energy-Efficient Machinery and System Awards of the Japan Machinery Federation.
    The Energy-Efficient Machinery and System Awards is an award program that is being promoted based on a stance of proactively commending not only stand-alone equipment, but also new efforts to achieve system-wide energy-saving benefits in response to the IoT era amid a strong demand for aggressive promotion of energy conservation in the industrial sector.

Energy Efficient Machine Award in 2013 (YC-Series)

    YC series won this prize. YUSHIN has reduced the weight of the moving parts of this robot by 25.5% using computer-aided technologies (CAE), from 133.6kg to 99.5kg. This reduced the power consumption per cycle of the robot by 26%, from 420W to 312W. This robot is equipped with ECO Vacuum function for reducing air consumption. This function decreased the amount of air consumed by the plant by 75% per cycle, from  19NL to 4.8NL. ECO Vacuum is now evolved to Smart ECO Vacuum. YUSHIN has also improved the vibration damping performance of this robot to reduce the vibration at the end of the take-out arm. As a result, the time the robot waits for vibration damping has been reduced by 72% and the molding cycle time has been reduced. The reduction has greatly contributed to the improvement of productivity

Smart ECO Vacuum (PAT.P)

    Smart ECO Vacuum optimizes the vacuum timing by constantly monitoring the vacuum pressure. This function can lower the electricity costs of air compressors and equipment costs by cutting air consumption by up to 78%.
